More isn’t always better; undeniable! If your breasts are enormous, you may suffer from several problems caused by the extra weight of your breasts. To begin with, large breasts can cause physical problems such as back or shoulder pain. Also, being critical of big breasts can make the straps of a bra cut into your skin. Not to mention that their heaviness means that it may be uncomfortable to do any physical activity or exercise. Suppose your large breasts make you experience neck and back pain, skeletal deformities, shoulder indentations caused by bra straps, skin irritation, and difficulty breathing. In that case, it is time to consider your breast reduction surgery.

Unlike common stereotypes, large chests are not always considered sexy. Oversized breasts can result in unwanted attention due to being disproportioned. Consequently, this may decrease self-esteem and cause psychological distress to many women. Fortunately, a breast reduction procedure can often resolve the issues accompanying big breasts. This procedure has one of the most significant impacts on a woman’s physical and emotional health. It can make you feel better about yourself, achieving more harmonious proportions and improving your overall body contour.

What is Breast Reduction?

It is also known as reduction mammaplasty. It’s a surgery that removes fat, breast tissue and skin from the breasts for those with large breasts.

Does MSI Cover Breast Reduction Procedure?

A provincial medical plan’s MSI won’t cover all breast reduction procedures. In order for the surgery to take place, you must meet the health and MSI criteria. If you do not meet the provincial criteria for coverage and are an excellent candidate for the surgery, then you will be able to pay for the procedure privately.
